I have had my classic 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible for eleven enjoyable years and wanted to share it with people who would appreciate it as much as I do. My mustang has been registered with Mike at Star Car Hire for 8 years and I couldn’t ask for better support from the team. This beautiful classic car has since been used far and wide for music videos starring Rita Ora, Perrie Edward’s (little mix) Ayra Star and many more. VEHICLE OWNER REVIEW - HIRING MY VEHICLES OUT WITH STAR CAR HIRE

I've been with Mike and Star Car Hire for a few years now after having a bunch of vehicles sitting around not earning their keep!! Since I’ve been with them I’ve been introduced to the world of film and TV and now every vehicle has a story! Recently my Honda XR250 1997 was hired for a fashion shoot with Juliana Nalu the Brazilian model. Last year my sidecar Ural Dnepr 1971 got hired out for gigs with Harry Rednap and another one with James Haskell for a Domino pizza advert. The AC Cobra 1974 has been rented for weddings, along with the orange Landrover Series 3 1977 which has also appeared in a rap video. All of these events have been so much fun to be a part of and everyone I've met from film crew to brides have been so nice and very respectful of the vehicles. The staff at Star Car Hire have also been brilliant, looking after me and advising me when necessary. I intend to be with them until my vehicles fall apart! VEHICLE OWNER REVIEW - HIRING OUT MY CARS FOR TV & FILM WITH STAR CAR HIRE

I've had several cars registered with Star Car Hire over the past ten years and have had many interesting jobs in the world of tv/film, advertising and events. I currently have three Classic cars listed on the site including my 1970 Dodge Challenger (Vanishing Point Copy), 1980 Ford Capri 3.Os (The Professionals Replica) and a three wheeled Delboy Trotter Van. Dealing with Mike has always been easy as he's a down to earth guy and very easy to communicate with. All his work is good quality and he's always been quick to settle invoices upon completion of jobs. Dealing directly with companies for Music videos, Fashion shoots, Films and Weddings etc can be frustrating and more work than you think but Star Car Hire deals with all the logitistics, invoicing etc and takes a lot of the stress out of organising jobs. Mike is always professional in his approch and very fair to work with. If you are toying with registering your vehicle for TV & Film work etc I definitely recommend that you advertise on Star Car Hire. The secret is to keep pricing jobs everytime you receive an enquiry - you will win some and lose some, but something exciting will normally come in. Tom, London

I have to admit I am very pleased with the team at Star Car Hire. I have had several of my cars listed for a couple years now and have enjoyed being booked for several shoots which range from music videos, brand launches and fashion shoots (some for very large established brands and artists). Thankfully, I’ve never had any issues and the transparency and communication with Mike and his team has been great. VEHICLE OWNER REVIEW - HIRING MY CLASSIC MUSTANG THROUGH STAR CAR HIRE

I have been working with Mike and his team for nearly 20 years. Reminds me that I should prompt him about the long service award. During that time I have been in the Grand Canyon, (actually Breedon Quarries in Derbyshire - loved by photographers for its colourful rock strata). That was with an inebriated Danish heavy metal band called 'Volbeat' who had headlined the Download festival the evening before. The asylum in south London Is another haunt of mine. Not for medicinal purposes but supplying the wedding car for the discerning couples who seek out these eclectic Venues. Trinity buoy wharf with its  fantastic views of the river and city of London is another one of these locations. Misadventures have included travelling back home with the new bride’s bag in the boot. What started out as a promise to my wife to make a classic car purchase earn its keep has turned into an adventure. Music Videos, Photo Shoots and Weddings - Ive done them all!! For years I had been thinking of registering my 1977 Trans Am for TV & Film Work but could never figure out how. One day whilst browsing online I discovered Star Car Hire who hired out cars similar to mine for Filming, Events and Weddings etc. After a brief phone call with Mike, who was fantastic at answering my questions and addressing my concerns (he also owned an identical Trans Am at the time), I finally made the leap and uploaded my car to the Star Car Website. The registration process was simple (and FREE) and within a matter of hours my car had been approved and was finally available for hire. I have had my car listed with Mike now for over ten years and have had my classic Pontiac take part in TV shows such as The Antiques Roadshow, Music Videos, Cinema Screenings of Smokey and the Bandit, numerous weddings and more!! I’ve had my Bumblebee Camaro registered with Star Car Hire for a few years now and have thoroughly enjoyed the work and opportunities they have sent my way. Everything from weddings to comic cons… even the odd shopping centre display event in between. Previously to this I had managed my own bookings but I can honestly say the system that Star Car Hire has in place for managing bookings is second to none. Larne Xmas Lights Switch On!

Dear Star Car Hire, Just a message to say thank you very much for your contribution to a great Christmas Parade in Larne town last night. The Karmann Ghia and other vehicles looked fantastic and the Mayor loved every minute of it. We have had a very positive response from people who were in the town centre watching the parade as well as those who were participants. We hired Star Cars Chevy Bel Air and Lola VW Beetle for our wedding in October 19. The thing is you dont imagine your drivers to be as cool as your cars. We absolutely arrived in style and the roar of our Chevy was amazing! Even made its way into our ceremony chat, deffo brownie points with the minister. Sam calmed my hubbys nerves whilst Ronnie went above and beyond looking out for our little boy who didn't want to have his buttonhole on nor tuck his shirt in!! We then drove to Botanic Gardens where Ronnie was super equipped with mirror for touch ups and scissors to help untie our hamper sarnies! This is more than 5 star service, this is just a love for what you do and it comes in abundance from Ronnie and Sam. We hired your two VW camper vans on Friday 15th September and were absolutely delighted.
They were spotless, comfortable and just perfect!!! Our daughter was beyond excited when she saw them (they were a surprise) and they added brilliantly to the day.
The two drivers were amazing gentlemen in every sense of the word. They made us relaxed and kept us chatting the whole way down. I honestly could not thank them enough.
If that weren’t enough, they made themselves available to my daughter and her husband to transport them for photographs. We hadn't expected or asked they simply volunteered, and they helped her so much with her dress both getting in and out of the van.
