About this Vehicle

1965 original English Morris Mini Moke Mark 1 in pristine condition. One of the finest remaining in the country, having undergone a complete ‘nut and bolt’ restoration in 2023/24. Ideal for promotional events, weddings, retail displays, special events, period films etc. The Moke is a quirky, open-top utility vehicle originally designed in the early 1960’s for military use. Its simplicity and charm have made it a cult classic, particularly favoured in beachside communities and tropical resorts. Only about a tenth of the 14,500 British produced Mokes were sold in the United Kingdom. The Moke has made cameo appearances in over 70 films, including in four James Bond movies: You Only Live Twice, Live and Let Die, The Spy Who Loved Me, and Moonraker, as well as the films Emmanuelle and Carry on Camping and of course the iconic television series ‘The Prisoner’ starring Patrick McGoohan (1967-68). The Beatles, the Beach Boys and the Dave Clark Five have also been photographed in a Moke.
