About this Vehicle

The SS 100 was the first sports car to carry the name Jaguar. This is a Suffolk continuation of the SS Cars Jaguar 100 which was produced between 1936-1939; this Suffolk factory build was completed in 2010, and has covered less than 4000 miles since then - effectively a brand new 1930s sports car. The modern fibreglass body is accurate to the original aluminium bodies to the millimetre, and all brightwork is fully period-correct. Running with a 1972 4.2 litre Jaguar straight-six engine and 4-speed manual with overdrive (the same engine and gearbox used in the E-type), this benefits from disc brakes and coil springs and shocks, over the drums and leaf springs of the original. This car turns heads everywhere she goes, with tremendous road presence and an appropriate pre-war soundtrack. Presented to a concours standard, and meticulously maintained. Despite the low mileage, this car is used regularly and available at short notice for filming and select events.
