About this Vehicle
This is a Wolseley 16/60. These cars were manufactured between 1961 and 1971 by the British Motor Corporation (forerunner to British Leyland) and were sold across the UK, Ireland and the Commonwealth. The Wolseley 16/60 is the higher-end specification of a range of badge-engineered family saloon cars collectively called ‘Farinas’ – including the Morris Oxford, Austin Cambridge, Riley 4/72 and MG Magnette. This 16/60, carrying two-tone Alaskan Blue and Snowberry White colours, rolled off the production line at Cowley, Oxford, in April 1969. It was dispatched to Kennings Limited (Manchester) and was first registered in Lancashire in May 1969. It was purchased by the current owner's grandfather in May 1971. Paintwork, chrome and interior in immaculate condition.
