About this Vehicle
A 1954 Armstrong-Siddeley Sapphire sports saloon. Beautiful black over metallic green with a cream leather interior. This was an alternative choice for a Bentley in the 1950s - and this model was the car driven by James Bond creator Ian Fleming. Extremely comfortable and characterful, with rear-hinged front doors, semaphore indicators, a bench front seat. Note there are no seat belts front or rear. Used regularly in London - fitted with an electric cooling fan, so it handles slow traffic well - it makes a real statement and is met with a lot of enthusiasm wherever it goes.
