About this Vehicle

The 1982 Talbot Sunbeam Lotus was a compact, rear-wheel-drive hot hatch built to dominate rally stages, pairing lightweight British design with Lotus engineering. Its punchy 2.2-litre twin-cam engine delivered sharp acceleration and an aggressive driving character, while its boxy, no-nonsense styling reflected its motorsport focus. Celebrated for winning the 1981 World Rally Championship for manufacturers, the Sunbeam Lotus remains a cult classic of early-1980s performance cars. This vehicle has black with silver stripes and period modifications, including extended arches and Corbeau bucket seats. No rear seats. The Lotus twin cam engine produces 220 bhp and makes an awesome sound!!
