About this Vehicle
This P1800S coupe was first registered on 2nd January 1965 in Gothenburg, Sweden (the S standing for Sweden, not Sport). She currently has 85,000 miles on the clock and runs beautifully. Her bodywork was designed by Pelle Petterson in an italian studio in Frua and she remains in pristine condition. When the TV production company looking for a car for Roger Moore to drive in "The Saint", intially they approached Jaguar for their E type, but they refused stating they had no need for the publicity - a decision they later regretted. Volvo however accepted and the car became a star. My P1800S is the exact same make, model, year and colour of the one driven by Simon Templer in the TV series which went on to make Roger Moore not just a TV star, but a a film icon as 007 in the James Bond movies. He personally owned one and was often seen behind the wheel of his P1800 in the late 1960s. Since I have owned her, I have been carefully making some improvements - and she's now ready to be enjoyed.
