About this Vehicle

The Goblin truck is hard to miss. It is a big Volvo lorry finished in a bold goblin green, the colour that gives the business its name and its character, with a large hydraulic crane folded down behind the cab. On the road it looks purposeful and just a little mischievous, all muscle and bright paint. On site it comes to life: the green arm rises and stretches out, reaching high overhead and far across to lift heavy loads over walls, fences and rooftops before setting them down gently, exactly where they belong. When there are trees to deal with, a grapple saw fits onto the end of the same arm, a powerful steel claw with a chainsaw built into its jaws. From a safe distance it reaches up, grips a branch or trunk, cuts clean through in seconds and never lets go, lowering each piece away under control instead of letting it crash to the ground. One machine, two jobs, steadying itself on its legs while it works before folding away and rolling off to the next, green and unmistakable.
